This deposit is nonrefundable, only order the number of nucs you expect to receive. The deposit is to ensure we have a nuc reserved for you, we take great care in preparing these for our customers who also count on us to provide them on schedule. We sell our nucs for in person pickup only. Pickups are in Howell, New Jersey.
Our nucleus colonies are made up of five deep frames of which 2 are food and 3 are brood in all stages. We have a proven record of providing high quality nucs every year, and we stand behind them 100%. Also with every nuc we sell we offer our support to help you with any question you may have long the way.
Spring nucs are normally ready for pickup by the middle of may, depending on the weather. Do not plan to be away during this time period as this is when the bees will need more space and must be transferred into a full size hive. We are first come first serve, so the earlier you make your reservation the higher you will be on our list.
